Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in an awesome game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the croupier, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers wager against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to worry about other, more skillful individuals winning their $$$$.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game play, beginners should be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make hasty selections.

It’s also much simpler to participate in for a very long time with just a small bit of money since, to lose, both of your hands needs to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the croupier gets 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and a two card hand must be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
